Abstract:
In view of the characteristics of metal wire products, which include multi-product, complex structure, complicated bending process and prone to collision, a virtual simulation method for wire bending processing was introduced. The motion control and bending process were analyzed, and the mathematical relationship between the product modeling parameters and prototype motion parameters was obtained. Then, segmentation modeling method of wire products was proposed, and nested matrix method and motion control function were used to realize virtual simulation of wire processing, where the OpenGL API was used. Virtual simulation system is composed of product modeling module and simulation processing module. The former is used for product parametric modeling, and the latter is used for processing trajectory planning and simulation. Simulation experiments show that the simulation system can realize online design and processing optimization of metal wire products, which can speed up product design and trial processing.
