Abstract:
In order to explore the law of chip morphology changing with cutting parameters in drilling high strength steel, on the one hand, by means of AdvantEdge FEM software to drill high-strength steel 34CrNi3MoV under different conditions of different tool geometry and cutting parameters, different chip geometry parameters and chip shapes are obtained in this paper. On the other hand, the cutting test of high-strength steel was carried out in this paper. Through the comparative analysis of the test results, the simulation results of chip shape were further verified and the reasons were analyzed. The results show that in drilling high-strength steel, the cutting parameters can be effectively changed by changing tool geometry and the cutting parameters, which provides a theoretical basis for the practical application of high strength steel drilling with high efficiency.
