Abstract: The article introduces an application of combining industrial robots with numerical control machine tools. The robot is matched with a vertical tools frame to replace the traditional mechanical tool magazine. The grab movement that catching or returning the tool can effectively reduce the failure rate of the traditional tool magazine. Especially for the customers who want many tools, the robot magazine has a great advantage in price, its diversity of functions, can meet more needs of CNC machine tools, will make greater progress.
