Abstract:
Taking fir-tree blade root finishing cutter as an example, this paper expounds the optimization design, manufacturing process, modeling and optimization design of replaceable carbide profile cutter body and blade finishing cutter, optimizes the cutting process strategy, simulates the processing process, designs and manufactures special tooling for taper shank and test ring gauge, and designs grinding cutter. The special tooling for the back angle of the blade is designed by NUMROTO software. The precision of the profile of the replaceable blade can reach the level of the imported milling cutter, and can meet the requirements of the precision of the profile of most groove and blade root processing. The cost of cutting tools can be saved substantially.
