Abstract:
The production efficiency of cooperative paced assembly line was improved through simulation analysis and industrial engineering methods. The operation status of assembly line was simulated, and the shortcomings and causes in assembly line operation were analyzed from the perspective of balance rate and output. On the basis of above analysis, the cooperation strategy of workers was partly adjusted, and the work measurement was proceeded with the bottleneck workstation. The working methods were improved according to the measurement results, and the improvement effect of working methods was validated by the work measurement again. The overall effect of production efficiency improvement measures of this assembly line was verified by simulation. The results show that through the improvement of cooperation strategy and working methods in bottleneck station, the production efficiency of assembly line can be improved at a lower cost.
