Abstract:
The integral titanium alloy skin composed with welding parts has been formed in hot only once so as to substitute for many times hot forming and welding process. The new heat-resisting alloy material XZ19-4N was developed. Its many advantages such as comprehensive mechanical and high-temperature oxidation resistant property and so on exceeded current technical standard. The integral die was designed and finite element numerical simulation was adopted to assess forming quality to reduce cost and error of the experiment. The integral hot forming titanium alloy skin was realized without welding.
