Abstract:
Finite element analysis of laser additive manufacturing for vehicle engine rear bracket on the simufact additive, it mainly studies the placement position of the parts, the support design and the influence of the cutting direction of the substrate on the effective stress and surface deviation of the formed parts. The results show: the vehicle engine rear bracket during the forming process of laser additive manufacturing, the plan in which the parts are inverted and the large plane is parallel to the substrate, less effective stress after forming, the maximum surface positive deviation is 0.43 mm, the maximum surface negative deviation is -0.47 mm, minimal surface distortion; less influence on the re-distribution of effective stress for the part by changing the cutting direction of the substrate, but it can reduce the amount of surface deviation, the vehicle engine rear bracket is cut in the -
Y direction with the smallest amount of surface deviation by additive manufacturing.
