Abstract:
The selection of cutting tool and machining parameters is an important part of process planning, which still depends on manual experience and seriously affects the quality and efficiency of process planning. In view of the above problems, a cutting tool and machining parameter decision method based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is proposed in this paper. The cutting tool and its corresponding machining parameters are evaluated comprehensively from such aspects as cutting tool properties, machining state and machining effect. Then the reasonable cutting tool and machining parameters can be selected. By using the CAA technology, the cutting tool and its corresponding machining parameters can be pushed to programmer automatically. The quality and efficiency of process planning can be improved effectively by using the method in this paper. A prototype system is developed and applied to the typical aircraft structural part by using the method in this paper.
