Abstract:
In order to solve the problems of complex drawing process, low accuracy and parameter correspondence of parameters is not clear, a device which can draw the contour curve of disc cam continuously and accurately is designed. The transmission scheme and general arrangement of the device are designed based on the reverse solution principle of cam contour curve and the transformation, synthesis and decomposition of mechanical motion. The transmission mechanism, the cam base circle adjustment mechanism, the eccentricity adjustment mechanism are designed by analyzing the motion characteristics of the device. A certain displacement curve is simulated and compared with the theoretical curve in MATLAB, and 3D simulation model is established and simulated in CATIA software and physical objects is made, the results show that the device can realize the functions of the disc cam contour curve drawing, the base circle radius adjusting, the eccentricity adjusting, and the feasibility of the design is verified. The designed cam profile curve drawing device is easy to operate, the drawing accuracy of the cam profile curve and the intuitiveness of the cam profile curve analysis are improved.
