Abstract:
The effects of different process parameters on the chamfering and surface quality of tungsten rods in planetary ball milling were studied. The experiment selected
ϕ0.8 mm×8 mm tungsten rod as the research object, and used the digital microscope to check the chamfering and surface quality of the tungsten rod, and verified it with the wick leak detection method. Through orthogonal experiment and data analysis, the effects of four processing parameters such as drum rotation speed, ball milling time, ball milling ratio and ball-milling stone size and their interaction on the quality of tungsten rod were studied. The results show that the drum speed and ball milling time have a significant effect on the quality of the tungsten rod. The experiment also proves that the planetary ball mill is suitable for the improvement of chamfering and surface quality of hard tungsten rods, and improves the production efficiency, and has achieved very good economic benefits.
