Abstract:
Equidistant profile connection has taken the place of the traditional key connection in the large torque transmission of heavy-duty machinery. At present, machining centers are often used to machining equidistant profile. A method of machining equidistant profile with two axis CNC lathe is proposed. The function of G32 to turning the end face thread instead of the function of
C axis in machining center, so as to realize the accurate positioning and tracking of the peripheral angle in cutting. The model of machining equidistant profile with G32 instruction is established, and the corresponding macro program is designed. The simulation cutting environment is established based on VERICUT, and the turning simulation processing is carried out. The results show that the normal two axis CNC lathe can realize to machining the equidistant profile, and it is very important to select the appropriate increment angle of the segmentation to ensure the machining accuracy.
