Abstract:
In order to research the stability of low-speed motion of a novel hybrid rotary table, an experimental system is established with a circular grating and NI6356 equipment. The output data of the grating is collected and analyzed. The results show that it is effective to have a middle plate in the rotary table, which allows the upper plate to start running on a flowing oil film. It is a new method to improve the stability of low-speed motion of the hybrid rotary table, which can not only suppress the crawling effect by reducing the difference between static and kinetic friction but also lower the power consumption of the upper plate.
