Abstract:
Single crystal superalloy parts are widely used in high temperature environment. The chip produced in the process of micro-milling seriously affects the surface quality of the workpiece. The micro-milling tool is used to cut it at high speed. The chip morphology is analyzed in the milling process, and the theoretical model of chip removal is established. The results show that the morphology of the chip is micro-nodular shape, and the chip surface is serrated. The insulation shear deformation of micro-milling single crystal superalloy material is also produced under the condition of lower than macro high cutting speed.
