蠕墨铸铁专用粗铣刀磨损机理及优选的研究

Study on wear mechanism and optimum selection of vermicular graphite cast iron special milling cutter

  • 摘要: 蠕墨铸铁作为制造新一代柴油发动机的理想材料,有着高强度、高延伸率和高热稳定性等优点,但其本身难加工问题一直阻碍着蠕墨铸铁的广泛应用。为了解决蠕墨铸铁平面铣削加工过程中出现的刀片磨损过快问题,通过自主开发新式专用刀具,改变刀具涂层和槽型,与现用刀具进行对比试验。结果表明,采用超细颗粒硬质合金基体,TiAlN物理涂层,大前角槽型的刀片进行铣削加工时,在保证加工质量的前提下,刀具寿命为原有刀具的3倍,有效提高了加工效率,并且大大降低了加工成本,为进一步推广蠕墨铸铁的广泛应用提供了有力支持。

     

    Abstract: As an ideal material for the manufacture of a new generation of diesel engines, has the advantages of high strength, high elongation and high thermal stability, but its own difficulty in processing has always hindered the wide application of vermicular graphite cast iron. In order to solve the problem of excessive blade wear in the process of milling of vermicular graphite cast iron, we independently developed new special tools, changed the coating and geometry of the tool, and carried out comparative tests with existing tools.The results show that when using ultra-fine particle carbide substrate, TiAIN physical coating, and large rake angle groove type inserts for milling processing, the tool life is 3 times that of the originaI tool under the premise of ensuring the quality of the processing, which effectively improves the processing efficiency and greatly reduce the processing cost.which provides strong support for the further promotion of the wide application of vermicular graphite cast iron.
