Abstract: With tool management function and measuring cycles in Siemens 840D sl CNC machine controller, it is ready to detect the error on a Renishaw OMP60 touch probe during daily measuring activity. And, with "Process Datashare" function, results data from probe can be uploaded onto intranet address automatically like an IOT device. The principle of error detection, logic of program and method of data uploading are introduced in detail.
