基于双样条拟合的五轴插补算法

Dual NURBS curve fitting algorithm for five-axis interpolator

  • 摘要: 五轴加工在精加工中应用越来越广泛,在某些加工应用中如果直接采用单样条曲线拟合,会在插补时出现加工速度及加速度难以调控的情况。而采用双样条拟合可以实现刀位文件里刀轴矢量与刀尖点坐标的分开计算,使得在不损失拟合精度的同时,还能有效改善加工时刀具的运动学表现。通过采用双样条拟合方法对S样件的加工进行仿真研究,采用B样条最小二乘法曲线拟合及S型曲线速度规划,并与常见的五轴样条插补方法进行了综合比较,从而证明双样条插补的可行性和实用性。

     

    Abstract: Five-axis machining is widely used in fine machining. Sometimes to modify the machining velocity/acceleration in the interpolation period with single-spline fitting method can be demanding. With dual-spline fitting method the tool axis vector and the tool point coordinate in the tool position file can be separately calculated, so that the kinematics within processing can be effectively adapted without impairing the fitting accuracy. In this paper, a dual spline fitting method will be introduced to simulate the processing of S-shape workpiece with B-spline least squares curve fitting and S-curve speed planning carried out. It will be then compared with the common five-axis spline interpolation method to prove the feasibility and practicality of dual-spline method
