Abstract:
This paper proposes an energy efficiency real-time monitoring system based on the Internet of Things framework. This system can not only monitor energy usage in real time, but also realize abnormal energy consumption detection and quantify the energy efficiency gap through data envelopment analysis(DEA) technology. A case study of a microfluidic device production line shows how the system can improve energy efficiency by eliminating possible energy waste in the production workshop and achieve efficient energy management.
