Abstract:
High speed cavity milling is a typical processing method of box parts, which is widely used in aviation, aerospace, automobile, mold and other industries. The cutting path of high-speed milling of cavity parts determines the machining efficiency and quality of such parts, so its trajectory planning is very important. In this paper, several classical cutting path strategies for high speed cavity milling are summarized. Secondly, the key influencing factors such as cutting engagement angle and flutter are discussed. Finally, this paper systematically analyzes the shortcomings of the existing planning methods in the cutting path of high-speed CNC milling with mold cavity, and discusses the future development prospects and hot issues that need to be explored step by step.
