The integration of 3D printing technology with precision casting has become a new direction for the innovation and development of traditional enterprises. DLP light curing 3D printer was developed for the preparation of precision casting ceramic shell, its main structures include DLP projection system,
Z-axis motion system, control system and prototyping system. The main structure of the equipment was designed, relevant forming parameters were studied through experiments. The appropriate
Z-axis movement speed was determined to be 150~300 mm/min, each layer exposure time was 30~35 s, the layer thickness was 0.1 mm, and the minimum printing size was 0.9 mm, which could provide reference for the subsequent research on the preparation of ceramic shell.
