Abstract: With the development of society and industry, the use of protective equipment to detect the presence of persons to protect the safety of employees has been widely used. The establishment of GB/T 29483-2013"ectrical safety of machinery—Application of protective equipment to detect the presence of persons"defines the selection mode and relevant requirements of the protection equipment for human body detection, which is of great significance to improve the safety level of machinery industry. This paper interprets and analyzes the main content of the GB/T 29483-2013 standard, which is convenient for standard users to understand the standard content, regulate the use of the standard, and provide a reference for the design, manufacture and selection of protective equipment for detecting human presence.
