整体式立铣刀端齿分屑槽的磨削轨迹算法研究

Research on the grinding trajectory algorithm of the end-tooth chip groove of end mill

  • 摘要: 端齿分屑槽是一种立铣刀端齿切削刃附近的附加槽形结构,通过减小切削刃宽度,实现易于断屑、卷屑及排出的功能,达到提高刀具寿命的目的。目前针对端齿分屑槽在立铣刀中的功能和结构设计的研究已经比较完善,而在数控磨削工艺方面还较少。因此,为了满足不同类型立铣刀端齿分屑槽设计要求,提出了适用于参数化结构和位置定义的分屑槽数控磨削工艺,推导了相应的砂轮磨削轨迹算法。并基于得到的磨削轨迹和五轴数控工具磨床运动原理,利用VC++编程求解端齿分屑槽磨削所需的NC程序。最后通过磨削仿真和实际加工试验,对分屑槽精度进行了测量,验证了磨削轨迹的正确性和有效性。

     

    Abstract: End tooth chip groove is an additional groove structure near the end tooth cutting edge of the end mill. By reducing the width of the cutting edge, it can achieve the functions of easy chip breaking, chip curling and discharge, thereby achieving the purpose of improving tool life. At present, the research on the function and structure design of the end-tooth chip groove in the end mill has been quite perfect, and there are still few in the CNC grinding process. Therefore, in order to meet the design requirements of different types of end mill chip cutters, this paper proposed a numerical control grinding process for chip cutters with parameterized structure and position definition, and derived the corresponding grinding wheel grinding trajectory algorithm. Then based on the obtained grinding trajectory and the five-axis NC tool grinder motion principle, and the NC program required for end tooth chip groove grinding was solved by VC++ programming. Finally, the accuracy of the grinding trajectory was verified by grinding simulation and actual machining tests, and the accuracy and effectiveness of the grinding trajectory were verified.
