Abstract:
The end tube plate of the condenser of steam turbine is mostly made of titanium-steel composite tube plate. Due to the great difference in the machining properties of the two metals, the drilling efficiency of the tube hole is low. In this paper, the test of one-time drilling for tube plate with the replaceable drill tip is studied. Firstly, the drilling test of titanium-steel composite plate is designed. The data of diameter, roughness of hole and cutting force in the drilling process are measured, and the chip discharge and built-up edge of tool in the drilling process are analyzed. The adaptability of the drilling technology of the replaceable drill tip for the titanium-steel composite tube plate is summarized. The test results show that the replaceable drill tip has stability for diameter and good chip discharge, which has better ability of drilling hole for the rough machining of titanium-steel composite tube plate of steam turbine condenser.
