Abstract: According to clamping requirements for small diameter cutting tools processing. A kind of auxiliary horizontal clamping mechanism is developed. The problems of clamping instability, difficult to control clamping force, tool skew and bending deformation are solved. The structures and operation principles of this mechanism are introduced in details.
