Abstract: Because the calculation of parts manufacturing cost relies too much on traditional manual experience, a feature-based method of parts manufacturing cost calculation is proposed to improve the ability of parts manufacturing to respond to dynamic demand changes. By classifying the processing characteristics, the main factors affecting the manufacturing cost were analyzed, the manufacturing cost model of plate parts was defined, and the manufacturing resource database was established. According to the key information of material cost and processing cost, the processing time calculation method based on processing characteristics is deeply analyzed, and the processing cost is determined.
