Abstract:
A forging mold information management system was developed to address the issues of low efficiency and error prone manual collection of mold information during the production process in forging factories. The concept of mold assembly list was proposed, and a relational database model with mold assembly list as the core was designed. The process of creating, using, and terminating mold assembly list was studied by integrating scenarios such as mold lending and return. On this basis, the overall architecture, functional modules, and coding rules of the forging mold management system were designed and developed. By using the QR code of the mold assembly list, the requirements for quick collection and traceability of mold information on the forging production site have been achieved. Taking the practical application of a high-end automotive component forging factory as an example, the feasibility and efficiency of the system in collecting mold information during the forging process were verified.
