低温环境下TB8钛合金螺栓拉-拉疲劳性能研究

Study on tensile fatigue properties of TB8 titanium alloy bolt at low temperature

  • 摘要: 为量化某型机用新型TB8钛合金螺栓服役寿命,以典型规格螺栓样件为目标对象,分析了TB8钛合金螺栓的金相微观组织、表层硬度分布、残余应力、疲劳寿命和断口形貌等特征。研究结果表明,TB8钛合金螺栓样件在20 、0 、−20和−40 ℃的平均疲劳寿命分别为2.46×105、2.83×105、2.96×105和3.74×105循环周次。基于螺栓断口形貌,揭示了不同温度下的疲劳断裂失效机理与模式,随着温度的降低,其疲劳失效形式由常温20 ℃的塑性断裂逐渐转变为解理断裂和脆性断裂。

     

    Abstract: In order to quantify the service life of a certain type of mechanical TB8 titanium alloy bolt, the typical bolt sample was taken as the target object, and the metallographic microstructure, surface hardness distribution, residual stress, fatigue life and fracture morphology of TB8 titanium alloy bolt were analyzed. The results show that the average fatigue life of TB8 titanium alloy bolt sample at 20, 0, −20 and −40 ℃ is 2.46×105, 2.83×105, 2.96×105 and 3.74×105 cycles number, respectively. Based on the bolt fracture morphology, the fatigue fracture failure mechanism and mode at different temperatures are revealed. The fatigue failure mode changes from plastic fracture at normal temperature of 20 ℃ to cleavage fracture and brittle fracture with the decrease of temperature.
