Abstract:
High-end computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools, known as the "master machines of industry" in the field of advanced automotive manufacturing, are the core basic equipment that determines the manufacturing level of the automotive industry. Driven by the rapid development of the new energy vehicle industry, China's high-end CNC machine tool industry faces significant development opportunities and also confronts many challenges, such as the lag in the research and development of key core technologies and the insufficiency of collaborative innovation capabilities in the industry. An in-depth analysis of the manufacturing process changes in the new energy vehicle field has been conducted, and the development status and existing problems of high-end CNC machine tools used in advanced automotive manufacturing in China has been sorted out. Moreover, from three levels of the government, the industry, and enterprises, it puts forward policy suggestions, including strengthening the collaborative research and development between the automotive and machine tool equipment industries, constructing a research, verification, and promotion service platform for common technologies of high-performance machine tools for automobiles, and creating a platform for technology and talent exchange. These suggestions are of great significance for promoting the high-quality development of the high-end CNC machine tool and new energy vehicle industries.
