Abstract:
Aiming at the problem that the point contact principle of worm wheel grinding leads to the small effective grinding area of single generation, the line contact meshing mechanism of the staggered shaft involute helical surface is studied, and the generation grinding method based on this characteristic is proposed. Firstly, the conditions for the realization of line contact meshing of the staggered shaft involute helical surface are clarified. The model of grinding wheel and workpiece with involute helical surface as tooth profile is established, and the coordination system of generating grinding is constructed. The calculation methods of key parameters such as installation shaft intersection angle, shaft spacing and installation offset are derived, and the proportional relationship between grinding wheel speed, workpiece speed and feed speed is analyzed. Through the analysis and calculation of the theoretical grinding trajectory, the correctness of the machining parameter setting and the feasibility of the machining method are verified by taking the grinding of the inner and outer profiles as an example.
