Evaluation model of lean incentive mechanism based on improved combined weighting-TOPSIS method

Abstract: Aiming at the problems of biased performance appraisal, subjective evaluation, fixed weights and lack of quantitative selection tools for lean incentives in manufacturing enterprises, this paper develops a 5-level, 15-index evaluation system via questionnaire survey and Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). Combined with Herzberg's two-factor theory and lean management principles, the indicators are divided into basic, improvement and constraint types to resolve contradictions between traditional appraisal rules and lean goals. An improved combined weighting method and the TOPSIS method are applied for weight optimization and scheme ranking. The model is validated using data from two workshops of Company A. The results show that this approach overcomes the limitations of subjective evaluation and empirical selection. The hierarchical indicators avoid the distortion of single output KPI and realize the coordination between performance management and lean improvement. It provides a reliable quantitative tool for lean production incentive optimization.
