碳纤维复合材料超声辅助钻削加工孔质量研究

Research of hole quality during drilling of CFRP with ultrasonic-assisted machining

  • 摘要: 碳纤维增强复合材料(carbon fiber reinforced plastics, CFRP)因其是编织材料, 具有各向异性、强度高等特点, 其加工难度大, 加工质量较差。针对这一现状, 采用电镀金刚石套料钻, 对CFRP开展了超声辅助钻削与普通钻削对比实验, 通过出入口质量、内壁形貌分析, 研究了超声振动作用对孔出入口、内壁质量的影响。结果表明: 相比于普通钻削, 超声辅助钻削时, 孔出口处毛刺, 分层等缺陷形式明显减少, 孔内壁上的加工缺陷也得到改善。

     

    Abstract: Carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) is a woven material, which has the characteristics of anisotropy and high strength. It is difficult to process and has poor processing quality. In view of this situation, the electroplated diamond nesting drill was used to carry out comparative experiments between ultrasonic assisted drilling and conventional drilling on CFRP. Through the analysis of the quality of the entrance and the inner wall, the influence of the ultrasonic vibration on the quality of the entrance and the inner wall of the hole was studied. The results demonstrate that compared to conventional drilling, the glitch and delamination at the entrance of hole were significantly reduced, and the machining defects on the inner wall of hole were also improved.
