Research of inner cooling tool handle structure of sapphire crystal bar machine

  • Considering that sapphire crystal has a hardness of being Mohs 9, which is next to the hardest diamond, thus it is the essential to settle the powerful inner cooling and outer cooling of both the cutting tools and the rystal which are affected by high cutting heat to ensure both stability and quality of the cutting rod. This article mainly covers research, design, manufacturing, improvement and on-line use of inner cooling tool handle and its associated tools.
