Design and simulation of welding fixture for veneer stiffener

  • Aiming at the problem of welding deformation of thin plate reinforcement, a special welding fixture was designed in this paper. The temperature field and deformation of gas shielded welding and laser welding in different welding sequences were obtained by solving thermo-solid coupling numerical method. The results show that the welding deformation of the two schemes is similar, and the laser welding can obviously reduce the deformation, up to 67.09%. The inflatable cabinet is widely used in the substation of industrial and mining enterprises for its excellent performance in the harsh environment.
