Design and research of special fixture for upper and lower covers of leaf spring seat of balanced suspension

Geometry feature of differential housing is analyzed, processing craft of differential housing is discussed. Based on the processing technology and shape characteristics of the upper and lower covers of spring seat, special fixtures and special cutters are designed and applied to practical production. The practicability of fixtures and the reliability of special cutters are verified by examples. Finally, the fixture achieves the desired cutting parameters and processing efficiency by balancing the weight dynamically.
