Experimental study on database of process parameter of SLM equipment with multi-metal 3D printing

Abstract
For a specific metal 3D printer, repeated experiments are needed to process different metals, it is necessary to establish a database of forming process parameters for a specific type of machine. In this paper, domestic metal printing equipment is taken as the research object, and takes the processing method of AlSi10Mg alloy as an example, and uses orthogonal test and micro-structure analysis to verify the correctness of the best combination of process parameters. Then the effects of laser power, scanning distance and scanning speed on the density, tensile strength and elongation of the printed metal can be obtained by processing a variety of metals. The results show that the melting point, oxidation resistance, and reflective rate of metals should be fully considered when selecting laser power; Scanning spacing has the greatest sensitivity to the mechanical properties of different metals. Finally, it can provide reference for the establishment of more metal forming database.
