Research on manual engraving method on shape of falling hammer die

  • The engraving of the edge line of the part on the drop hammer mold is the basis for the trimming of the formed part product. The accuracy of the engraving line directly affects the precision of the product. Due to the irregular shape of the product, the engraved line needs to be programmed on the 5-axis machining center, which has high processing cost and high requirements for programmers. The manual scribe method proposed in this paper is simple and practical, and fully meets the requirements of scribe line accuracy.
