Structure design and simulation analysis of radial vibration cylindrical turning tool

  • Based on the principle of vibration cutting, the vibrating tool bar of TC4 titanium alloy was designed for radial vibration turning.Ultrasonic vibration frequency of 20 kHz, cross section is 32 mm in diameter, the amplitude of the tail and the amplitude of a tool rod joint connected by screw thread hole, thread hole size for M18×20 mm, on the basis of this model for the vibration turning tool rod is calculated, and then by using the finite element simulation software ANSYS Workbench to set tool rod do modal analysis and harmonic response analysis, designed to meet the requirements of machining radial vibration cylindrical turning tool rod.
