Evaluation method of system hazard based on numerical control machine tool FMECA and improved RPN

  • It is necessary to pay attention to the situation of various parts of the CNC machine tool at all times. Through the CNC machine tool data collected from inside the enterprise, the reliability analysis of each system of the CNC machine tool is carried out to study the type of failure, failure mode and failure cause of each subsystem, and determine its impact on the overall function of the machine tool. And through FMECA analysis and calculation method and improved RPN system hazard analysis method to find the weak position of each system of CNC machine tools, understand the overall impact of various failures on CNC machine tools, and finally obtain the reliability information of CNC machine tools. The research results show that this method can find out the main fault parts of the machine tool more accurately, and put forward corresponding preventive measures and solutions to these fault parts, so as to improve the operating life of the machine tool.
