The state detection of CNC machine tool's feed axis based on PCA feature extraction and drive current

  • The servo drive channel of CNC can directly acquire the status information of the CNC system instead of external sensors. Integrating PCA feature extraction method, develop a feed axis state detection strategy based on the drive current in no-load case. The result show that this method can not only effectively improve the speed and the effectiveness of data acquisition, but also have high reliability, and could be used for fast state detection of CNC machine tool's feed axis in industrial field.
