Analysis of lattice structure design module for additive manufacturing

  • The lattice structure processed by additive manufacturing technology has excellent mechanical properties and becomes an ideal part structure. The traditional CAD modeling method based on boundary expression is inefficient in the design of lattice structure, and the development of efficient lattice structure design module is one of the keys to the further application of additive manufacturing. The lattice structure design modules of PTC CREO, Siemens NX, Autodesk Netfabb and Material Magics are compared and analyzed. It is of great significance to develop independent industrial software for additive manufacturing design.
