The design and analysis of sawing machine for stone roughing

  • In order to improve the rough machining efficiency and automation degree of stone flat relief, the design scheme of five-axis saw cutting machine with double power head consisting of saw cutting power head and side extrusion hammer was put forward. The power head of saw cutting can be tilted within the range of 45°to realize the oblique feed of the circular saw blade, which can quickly solve the common processing problems such as low relief depth and inclined edge. Then, the processed surface was extruded laterally by the extrusion hammer, according to the root fracture principle of the brittle stone material. Because stone is a brittle material that is prone to root fracture, the machining allowance on the processed surface can be removed by lateral extrusion of the hammer-power head, so as to realize fully automatic processing of planar relief. The research results have a certain guiding significance and application value for the automatic and efficient saw cutting rough machining of stone plane relief, and have a considerable market prospect.
