Application and simulation of intelligent platform based on VB in special shaped taper thread

  • In NC turning, the macro program is often used to program special-shaped thread of conic, such as elliptic, hyperbolic and parabolic. The structure of the program is various and complex, which requires high level of programmers. Early stage, a new unified model of the macro program for this thread was built. Then on this foundation, this paper studies a intelligent platform which is developed based on VB, In the platform, the macro program of three kinds of conic curve special-shaped thread can be obtained by only changing the key parameters, which is simple and effective, Then the designed program is verified by the VERICUT software and solved the problem of turning the thread.
