Abstract
When cylindricity error is evaluated, there is no general method to determine whether the algorithm constructs or finds the minimum regional boundary of the set of measurement points. In response to this problem, we study the general discrimination method of cylindricity based on matrix. Analyzes the relationship between the set of measuring points of hole or axis and the boundary of the minimum area, such as the relative orientation, relative distance, etc., establishes the linear model of the minimum area of cylindricity, analyzes the basic mathematical logic form of the minimum area and its inference which is easier to solve, and transforms these logic problems into equivalent algebraic discriminant methods by using the properties of boundary point matrix. Finally, an example is employed to verify the proposed algebraic discrimination method.
