Abstract
Aiming at the problems of the grinding process of the eccentric flank of the peripheral edge of the arc end mill, the sharp change in the grinding attitude of the peripheral edge and the flank of the end edge leads to poor grinding quality, a method of grinding with parallel grinding wheels is studied. Algorithm for flank trajectory of arc end milling cutter. This article first establishes a parametrically designed arc head blade curve model, and defines a series of active coordinate systems and their conversion relations based on the model. Then define the grinding wheel grinding posture model and related parameters in its corresponding coordinate system, and obtain a unified expression in the workpiece coordinate system through its conversion relationship. Finally, simulation and actual processing are carried out to verify the calculation results, and the accuracy of the relevant parameters of the flank face is measured with a detector, which verifies the correctness and effectiveness of the algorithm.
