Research and application of standard parts unified database oriented to product life cycle

A large number of standard parts are required in the design process of manufacturing products. Among them, standard part data is one of the sources of design data for product life cycle management. The unification and specification of standard part data determine that the standard part data is consistent with other system data. A standardized and unified digital collaboration environment has promoted the integration, communication and sharing of information between enterprise systems. Based on this, this article studies the basic data of standard parts and the requirements of various systems in the enterprise for standard parts data, and proposes a method for the construction and implementation of a unified database of standard parts for the full life cycle of the product, and classifies and codes the standard parts used by the enterprise, Developed a data template, a three-dimensional model, and determined the unified data of standard parts. The company used this method to develop the CATIA software on the design side to achieve a unified database of standard parts for the full life cycle of the product. The developed system was applied in the design department with good results.
