Abstract
In order to grind the structured convex hull surface with array pattern, based on the analysis of the characteristics of the convex hull surface with array pattern and the discussion of the conditions for generating the convex hull surface, the structured grinding wheel is designed in combination with the characteristic parameters of the convex hull surface, the grinding trajectory equation is given, a simulation study on grinding the convex hull surface with array pattern by a structured grinding wheel is carried out based on Matlab software.The simulation results show that the designed structured grinding wheel can realize the grinding of the convex hull surface with array pattern.At the same time, when the grinding depth apis constant, the distance and size of the convex hull unit in the workpiece feed direction are proportional to the workpiece feed speed vw; when the workpiece feed speed vw is constant, the residual surface area of the workpiece is inversely proportional to the grinding depth ap, and the distance and size of the convex hull unit are not affected by the grinding depth ap.
