Design and research on the control system of the polishing and grinding workstation of the pin-shaped abrasive belt

  • In order to realize the automation of the polishing and grinding process of the weld joint of a stainless steel water tank, according to the process requirements of the polishing and grinding of the weld joint of the stainless steel water tank, the control system of the polishing and grinding workstation of the pin shaped abrasive belt is designed. The control system takes ABB industrial robot and s7-1512c PLC as the control core, adopts Profinet bus communication, develops the upper computer control platform based on ABB PC SDK and the third-party open source library s7.net, and carries out the hardware selection, construction and program design of the workstation control system. Using ABB Robot Simulation Software RobotStudio and Siemens BoTu software to simulate and debug the workstation control system, it is verified that the workstation control system fully meets the requirements of grinding process.
