The center bracket design for the influence of manufacturing

Taking the center bracket of the split screw compressor as an example to analyze the different designs for the impact of manufacturing of the part. The center bracket is the important part that connects the compressor and the motor. The difficulty of machining is the high requirement of 2-hole coaxiality. The paper analyses the machining process of different designs from the perspective of machining and optimizes the product design. The results indicate that the machinability of the optimized part is obviously improved.
