A review on application of particle swarm optimization in path planning of mobile robot

  • Particle swarm optimization is a commonly used algorithm in robot path planning, the optimization method used will directly affect the robot's work efficiency. Aiming at the optimization application of particle swarm optimization algorithm, this paper discusses the classification based on particle swarm clustering, particle swarm initialization improvement, parameter optimization and fusion algorithm. Finally, the application of particle swarm optimization in robot path planning is summarized and prospected.
