Research and implementation of displacement motion algorithm based on sine and cosine functions

  • In order to achieve a expected algorithm planning that can calculate continuous motion instructions during the machining process of machine tools and improve the accuracy of position control, an algorithm model for the continuous variation of displacement motion instructions with time based on the characteristic of continuous variation of sine and cosine function values is designed and formulae are deduced. Combined with Matlab, simulation analysis was conducted on the planning details of the algorithm, and it was found that the control instructions for the algorithm planning were stable and continuous, proving the correctness of the establishment of algorithm model and the process of formula derivation. Selecting the motion process of PCB copper-clad panels processed by machine tools as the experimental research object, a laser interferometer was used to measure the actual displacement distance of machine tool processing. The designed displacement motion algorithm was used for motion process planning, and the position control accuracy can reach 1.788 μm which verified the correctness of the displacement motion algorithm.
