The study of conversion of process dimensions for space angle boring based on analytical method

  • The precise machining of space angular holes is crucial for ensuring the structural integrity of planetary gear systems. Accurate machining dimensions are required to achieve precise positioning during the boring process, based on the design dimensions provided in the engineering drawings. The process of boring space angular holes with double and triple angles are studied systematically, along with the conversion of process dimensions. The calculation formulas is derived by means of graphic method and analytical method, expanding the range of methods available for converting process dimensions. By employing the derived analytical formulas, the required machining dimensions can be obtained by using the relative dimensions of the space angular hole and the process steel ball, and the angle dimensions of the space angular hole. To validate the effectiveness and accuracy of the derived formulas, a dedicated software tool is developed using the Python programming language, providing a practical implementation of the process dimension calculations.
